Climbing Ponte Porton, Croatia

On Saturday, we packed our car and drove to the Croatian climbing spot of Ponte Porton. The spotย was very overgrown with lots of insects (especially mosquitoes) buzzing around and quite a few lizards – not for the faint-hearted ๐Ÿ˜‰ Jokes aside, it’d be much better to visit Ponte Porton in winter time.

The routes, on the other hand, are short, but fun nonetheless. Although, their grades are not to be trusted: a route marked 6bย is more likely to be a 5c.

Spot info:

  • Location: N 45ยฐ21’18.85”, E 13ยฐ45’6.28”
  • Number of routes:ย 29
  • Difficulty levels: 4a โ€“ย 6b
  • Routesโ€™ height: 8 – 15ย metres
